Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDEED FFGHHG IJKJ LMNNMOMOBBP

We stood among the boats and netsA
We saw the swift clouds fallB
We watched the schooners scamper inC
Before the sudden squallB
The jolly squall strove lustilyB
To whelm the sheltered streetD
The merry squall that piled the seasE
About the patient headland's kneesE
And chased the fishing fleetD
-
She laughed as if with wings her mirthF
Arose and left the wingless earthF
And all tame things behindG
Rose like a bird wild with delightH
Whose briny pinions flash in flightH
Through storm and sun and windG
-
Her laughter sought those skies becauseI
Their mood and hers were oneJ
For she and I were drunk with loveK
And life and storm and sunJ
-
And while she laughed the Sun himselfL
Leapt laughing through the rainM
And struck his harper hand alongN
The ringing coast and that wind songN
Whose joy is mixed with painM
Forgot the undertone of griefO
And joined the jocund strainM
And over every hidden reefO
Whereon the waves broke merrilyB
Rose jets and sprays of melodyB
And leapt and laughed againP
