My Guru Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH HIJKLM HNOPQ RSHTUD

Not atop a hill nor in a religious placeA
Not a leader nor a sage in a hermitageB
Not a king nor a healer prima facieC
But in my Son lies my GuruD
-
For it takes a soul as pure as himE
To awaken the spirituality withinF
For it is he who made me evolveG
Coming a long distance from where I wasH
-
The whims and fancies of yesteryearsH
The aims and ambitions once so paramountI
The disappointment and despairs in lifeJ
The struggles and sacrifices as I went alongK
All seem so trivial nowL
In front of his doting eyes and soulful smileM
-
My world through his eyesH
And his world through mineN
I see the strongest bond nature has ever createdO
That of pure unconditional loveP
Of a Mother and ChildQ
-
How many will he inspire when he grows upR
How many will submit to his commandS
I wonder but today and alwaysH
Truly in my Son my Little KrishnaT
Lies my Guru my inspiration my SoulU
