Deafening sounds and blinding darknessA
Renders even a jovial man joylessA
Thunder and lightningB
Are indeed frighteningB

Buildings trembledC
Ground shookD
Ruins crumbledC
Almighty the cookD

Enveloped by fearE
A child's eyes tearF
Everyone longs for peaceA
And for the storm to ceaseA
