The Thunderstorm
Deafening sounds and blinding darkness
Renders even a jovial man joyless
Thunder and lightning
Are indeed frightening
Buildings trembled
Ground shook
Ruins crumbled
Almighty the cook
Enveloped by fear
A child's eyes tear
Everyone longs for peace
And for the storm to cease.
