That homeless man on the street
Now and then lacks something to eat
That man was once definitely like us
Before fate's fatal blow struck his jaws.

Although, dealt with by fate and time
He never ceases to keep his hopes high
I was once opportune to hear him sing
And indeed, his tone was heavenly.

Every night, when on my bed I lay
I pray for harm not to come his way
That man deserves empathy and love
Even though there's no care in this world.

I hope nature will smile on him again
And get him somewhere safe to stay
Everyone deserves a second chance
We ain't no God, we are all humans.
