| parallel to our own though overlapping | H |
| We call it Nature only reluctantly | E |
| admitting ourselves to be Nature too | C |
| Whenever we lose track of our own obsessions | A |

| response to that insouciant life | K |
| cloud bird fox the flow of light the dancing | H |

| of spellbound ephemerae on a lit windowpane | M |
| animal voices mineral hum wind | N |
| conversing with rain ocean with rock stuttering | H |
| of fire to coal then something tethered | O |
| in us hobbled like a donkey on its patch | P |
