Celebration Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEBFGHIJKLM

Brilliant this day a young virtuoso of a dayA
Morning shadow cut by sharpest scissorsB
deft hands And every prodigy of greenC
whether it's ferns or lichens or needlesD
or impatient points of buds on spindly bushesE
greener than ever before And the way the conifersB
hold new cones to the light for the blessingF
a festive right and sing the oceanic chant the windG
transcribes for themH
A day that shines in the coldI
like a first prize brass band swinging alongJ
the streetK
of a coal dusty village wholly at oddsL
with the claims of reasonable gloomM
