Timble Tack Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DECF GHIJ EKLG G KMNO DDK KP QDRST

He came without an invitationA
Lying under the stairsB
As if waiting for my permissionA
Was scared and cold the first time I took him in handC
-
Became a member of our familyD
A bowl became his houseE
Staying in it sleeping inside my handC
Fighting against the coldF
-
Everyone around came to playG
Being near him a little scaredH
The cutest and only pet I hadI
Now became a toy for other handsJ
-
We brought him his new houseE
Green in colourK
A house with rods and a bell on topL
He played with it every dayG
-
Hardly came out and then one dayG
-
The cage was open and he jumped ourK
Without me knowing went aroundM
I opened the door without seeingN
There he lay without a squeakO
-
The door took him away from meD
For years and years and no more seeD
I miss him wish to kiss him and move my hand around his hairK
-
Because of me he layer thereK
Breathe less motion less with blood around his mouthP
-
Timble my squirrel is no more with me nowQ
But I promise you you will always beD
In my heartR
For as long as I liveS
And please forgive me for what I didT
