Worm Either Way Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC ADEC FGH EGIJAKL MNONPQRSRT RUVWSXYEK

If you live along with all the other peopleA
and are just like them and conform and are niceB
you're just a wormC
-
and if you live with all the other peopleA
and you don't like them and won't be like them and won't conformD
then you're just the worm that has turnedE
in either case a wormC
-
The conforming worm stays just inside the skinF
respectably unseen and cheerfully gnaws away at the heart of lifeG
making it all rotten insideH
-
The unconforming worm that is the worm that has turnedE
gnaws just the same gnawing the substance out of lifeG
but he insists on gnawing a little hole in the social epidermisI
and poking his head out and waving himselfJ
and saying Look at me I am not respectableA
I do all the things the bourgeois daren't doK
I booze and fornicate and use foul language and despise your honest manL
-
But why should the worm that has turned protest so muchM
The bonnie bonnie bourgeois goes a whoring up back streets just the sameN
The busy busy bourgeois imbibes his little shareO
just the sameN
if not moreP
The pretty pretty bourgeois pinks his language just as pinkQ
if not pinkerR
and in private boasts his exploits even louder if you ask meS
than the otherR
While as to honesty Oh look where the money liesT
-
So I can't see where the worm that has turned puts anything overR
the worm that is too cunning to turnU
On the contrary he merely gives himself awayV
The turned worm shouts I bravely boozeW
the other says Have one with meS
The turned worm boasts I copulateX
the unturned says You look itY
You're a d b b p bb says the worm that's turnedE
Quite says the other CuckooK
