I will give you all my keysA
You shall be my ch telaineB
You shall enter as you pleaseA
As you please shall go againB
-
When I hear you jingling throughC
All the chambers of my soulD
How I sit and laugh at youC
In your vain housekeeping r leE
-
Jealous of the smallest coverF
Angry at the simplest doorG
Well you anxious inquisitive loverF
Are you pleased with what's in storeG
-
You have fingered all my treasuresH
Have you not most curiouslyI
Handled all my tools and measuresH
And masculine machineryI
-
Over every single beautyI
You have had your little raptureF
You have slain as was your dutyI
Every sin mouse you could captureF
-
Still you are not satisfiedJ
Still you tremble faint reproachK
Challenge me I keep asideJ
Secrets that you may not broachK
-
Maybe yes and maybe noB
Maybe there are secret placesL
Altars barbarous belowB
Elsewhere halls of high disgracesL
-
Maybe yes and maybe noB
You may have it as you pleaseL
Since I choose to keep you soB
Suppliant on your curious kneesL
