Sorrow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD AEFD AEBD

Why does the thin grey strandA
Floating up from the forgottenB
Cigarette between my fingersC
Why does it trouble meD
-
Ah you will understandA
When I carried my mother downstairsE
A few times only at the beginningF
Of her soft foot maladyD
-
I should find for a reprimandA
To my gaiety a few long grey hairsE
On the breast of my coat and one by oneB
I let them float up the dark chimneyD
