Lotus Hurt By The Cold Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CAAC DEED FGGH

How many times like lotus lilies risenA
Upon the surface of a river thereB
Have risen floating on my blood the rareB
Soft glimmers of my hope escaped from prisonA
-
So I am clothed all over with the lightC
And sensitive beautiful blossoming of passionA
Till naked for her in the finest fashionA
The flowers of all my mud swim into sightC
-
And then I offer all myself untoD
This woman who likes to love me but she turnsE
A look of hate upon the flower that burnsE
To break and pour her out its precious dewD
-
And slowly all the blossom shuts in painF
And all the lotus buds of love sink overG
To die unopened when my moon faced loverG
Kind on the weight of suffering smiles againH
