Lies About Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFGHI

We are a liars becauseA
the truth of yesterday becomes a lie tomorrowB
whereas letters are fixedC
and we live by the letter of truthD
The love I feel for my friend this yearE
is different from the love I felt last yearE
If it were not so it would be a lieF
Yet we reiterate love love loveG
as if it were a coin with a fixed valueH
instead of a flower that dies and opens a different budI
