If You Are A Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHDI JKJL

If you are a man and believe in the destiny of mankindA
then say to yourself we will cease to careB
about property and money and mechanical devicesC
and open our consciousness to the deep mysterious lifeD
that we are now cut off fromE
-
The machine shall be abolished from the earth againF
it is a mistake that mankind has madeG
money shall cease to be and property shall cease to perplexH
and we will find the way to immediate contact with lifeD
and with one anotherI
-
To know the moon as we have never knownJ
yet she is knowableK
To know a man as we have never knownJ
a man as never yet a man was knowable yet still shall beL
