Conceit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EFG HIB

It is conceit that kills usA
and makes us cowards instead of godsB
-
Under the great Command Know thy self and that thou art mortalC
we have become fatally self conscious fatally self important fatally entangled in the Laoco n coils of our conceitD
-
Now we have to admit we can't know ourselves we can only know about ourselvesE
And I am not interested to know about myself any moreF
I only entangle myself in the knowingG
-
Now let me be myselfH
now let me be myself and flicker forthI
now let me be myself in the being one of the godsB
