Bei Hennef Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEA FF GAHIJ FAAKABHC

The little river twittering in the twilghtA
The wan wandering look of the pale skyB
This is almost blissC
-
And everything shut up and gone to sleepD
All the troubles and anxieties and painE
Gone under the twilightA
-
Only the twilight now and the soft 'Sh ' of the riverF
That will last for everF
-
And at last I know my love for you is hereG
I can see it all it is whole like the twilightA
It is large so large I could not see it beforeH
Because of the little lights and flickers and interruptionsI
Troubles anxieties and painsJ
-
You are the call and I am the answerF
You are the wish and I the fufilmentA
You are the night and I the dayA
What else It is perfect enoughK
It is perfectly completeA
You and IB
What moreH
Strange how we suffer in spite of thisC
