Anxiety Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF HIJI

The hoar frost crumbles in the sunA
The crisping steam of a trainB
Melts in the air while two black birdsC
Sweep past the window againD
-
Along the vacant road a redE
Bicycle approaches I waitF
In a thaw of anxiety for the boyG
To leap down at our gateF
-
He has passed us by but is itH
Relief that starts in my breastI
Or a deeper bruise of knowing that stillJ
She has no restI
