A Sane Revolution Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCA DE FF FFGH IJI KLHKA

If you make a revolution make it for funA
don't make it in ghastly seriousnessB
don't do it in deadly earnestC
do it for funA
-
Don't do it because you hate peopleD
do it just to spit in their eyeE
-
Don't do it for the moneyF
do it and be damned to the moneyF
-
Don't do it for equalityF
do it because we've got too much equalityF
and it would be fun to upset the apple cartG
and see which way the apples would go a rollingH
-
Don't do it for the working classesI
Do it so that we can all of us be little aristocracies on our ownJ
and kick our heels like jolly escaped assesI
-
Don't do it anyhow for international LabourK
Labour is the one thing a man has had too much ofL
Let's abolish labour let's have done with labouringH
Work can be fun and men can enjoy it then it's not labourK
Let's have it so Let's make a revolution for funA
