Of Beauty And Duty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEFFED

TWO ladies to the summit of my mindA
Have clomb to hold an argument of loveB
The one has wisdom with her from aboveB
For every noblest virtue well designedA
The other beauty's tempting power refinedA
And the high charm of perfect grace approveC
And I as my sweet Master's will doth moveC
At feet of both their favors am reclinedA
Beauty and Duty in my soul keep strifeD
At question if the heart such course can takeE
And 'twixt the two ladies hold its love completeF
The fount of gentle speech yields answer meetF
That Beauty may be loved for gladness sakeE
And Duty in the lofty ends of lifeD
