130 men sailed on the Rose Marie
130 men were cruelly cast into the sea
They left from Spain the 8th of June 1594
They escaped from politics, persecusion and a war
They sailed over waters that few men had ever passed
They sailed on a wind blown ship that had but one strong mast
Their food was poor, their rations thin, their water barely fit to drink
But never once did one man think, their ship could ever fail upon the road to freedom
