The Circles Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDBBEEFFGGHEII JJKKBBLL

Within yon world wide cirque of warA
What's hidden which they fight so forA
My guide made answer Rich increaseB
Of virtue and use which are by peaceB
And peace by war That inner ringC
Are craftsmen working many a thingC
For use and these within the wiseD
Explore the grass and read the skiesD
Can the stars motions give me peaceB
Or the herbs' virtues mine increaseB
Of all this triple shell said IE
Would that I might the kernel spyE
A narrower circle then I reach'dF
Where sang a few and many preach'dF
Of life immortal But I saidG
The riddle yet I have not readG
Life I must know that care I mayH
For life in me to last for ayeE
Then he Those voices are a charmI
To keep yon dove cot out of harmI
In the centre then he show'd a tentJ
Where laughing safe a woman bentJ
Over her babe and her aboveK
Lean'd in his turn a graver loveK
Behold the two idolatriesB
By which cried he the world defiesB
Chaos and death and for whose sakeL
All else must war and work and wakeL
