The Azalea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBABAAAACADDACAAAAA AAAAE

There where the sun shines firstA
Against our roomB
She train'd the gold Azalea whose perfumeB
She Spring like from her breathing grace dispersedA
Last night the delicate crests of saffron bloomB
For this their dainty likeness watch'd and nurstA
Were just at point to burstA
At dawn I dream'd O God that she was deadA
And groan'd aloud upon my wretched bedA
And waked ah God and did not waken herC
But lay with eyes still closedA
Perfectly bless'd in the delicious sphereD
By which I knew so well that she was nearD
My heart to speechless thankfulness composedA
Till 'gan to stirC
A dizzy somewhat in my troubled headA
It was the azalea's breath and she was deadA
The warm night had the lingering buds disclosedA
And I had fall'n asleep with to my breastA
A chance found letter press'dA
In which she saidA
'So till to morrow eve my Own adieuA
Parting's well paid with soon again to meetA
Soon in your arms to feel so small and sweetA
Sweet to myself that am so sweet to you 'E
