Scherzo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEEFGFHHIJEEJJ

When as a boy I wentA
To study in the Muses' schoolB
One of them came to me and tookC
Me by the hand and all that dayD
She through the work shop led me graciouslyE
The mysteries of the craft to seeE
She guided meE
Through every partF
And showed me allG
The instruments of artF
And did their uses all rehearseH
In works alike of prose and verseH
I looked and paused awhileI
Then asked 'O Muse where is the file 'J
'The file is out of order friend and weE
Now do without it ' answered sheE
'But to repair it then have you no care 'J
'We should indeed but have no time to spare 'J
