White Houses Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBBCCDEDFBB

Your door is shut against my tightened faceA
And I am sharp as steel with discontentB
But I possess the courage and the graceA
To bear my anger proudly and unbentB
The pavement slabs burn loose beneath my feetB
A chafing savage down the decent streetB
And passion rends my vitals as I passC
Where boldly shines your shuttered door of glassC
Oh I must search for wisdom every hourD
Deep in my wrathful bosom sore and rawE
And find in it the superhuman powerD
To hold me to the letter of your lawF
Oh I must keep my heart inviolateB
Against the potent poison of your hateB
