When I Have Passed Away Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

When I have passed away and am forgottenA
And no one living can recall my faceB
When under alien sod my bones lie rottenA
With not a tree or stone to mark the placeB
-
Perchance a pensive youth with passion burningC
For olden verse that smacks of love and wineD
The musty pages of old volumes turningC
May light upon a little song of mineD
-
And he may softly hum the tune and wonderE
Who wrote the verses in the long agoF
Or he may sit him down awhile to ponderE
Upon the simple words that touch him soF
