The White City Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGHH

I will not toy with it nor bend an inchA
Deep in the secret chambers of my heartB
I muse my life long hate and without flinchA
I bear it nobly as I live my partB
My being would be a skeleton a shellC
If this dark Passion that fills my every moodD
And makes my heaven in the white world's hellC
Did not forever feed me vital bloodE
I see the mighty city through a mistF
The strident trains that speed the goaded massG
The poles and spires and towers vapor kissedF
The fortressed port through which the great ships passG
The tides the wharves the dens I contemplateH
Are sweet like wanton loves because I hateH
