Summer Morn In New Hampshire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGI

All yesterday it poured and all night longA
I could not sleep the rain unceasing beatB
Upon the shingled roof like a weird songA
Upon the grass like running children's feetB
And down the mountains by the dark cloud kissedC
Like a strange shape in filmy veiling dressedD
Slid slowly silently the wraith like mistC
And nestled soft against the earth's wet breastD
-
But lo there was a miracle at dawnE
The still air stirred at touch of the faint breezeF
The sun a sheet of gold bequeathed the lawnE
The songsters twittered in the rustling treesF
And all things were transfigured in the dayG
But me whom radiant beauty could not moveH
For you more wonderful were far awayG
And I was blind with hunger for your loveI
