Jasmines Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBCDEFGGFHGH

Your scent is in the roomA
Swiftly it overwhelms and conquers meB
Jasmines night jasmines perfect of perfumeA
Heavy with dew before the dawn of dayC
Your face was in the mirror I could seeB
You smile and vanish suddenly awayC
Leaving behind the vestige of a tearD
Sad suffering face from parting grown so dearE
Night jasmines cannot bloom in this cold placeF
Without the street is wet and weird with snowG
The cold nude trees are tossing to and froG
Too stormy is the night for your fond faceF
For your low voice too loud the wind's mad roarH
But oh your scent is here jasmines that growG
Luxuriant clustered round your cottage doorH
