I Know My Soul Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABCADEDEFE

I plucked my soul out of its secret placeA
And held it to the mirror of my eyeB
To see it like a star against the skyB
A twitching body quivering in spaceA
A spark of passion shining on my faceA
And I explored it to determine whyB
This awful key to my infinityC
Conspires to rob me of sweet joy and graceA
And if the sign may not be fully readD
If I can comprehend but not controlE
I need not gloom my days with futile dreadD
Because I see a part and not the wholeE
Contemplating the strange I'm comfortedF
By this narcotic thought I know my soulE
