After The Winter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGFGHIJI

Some day when trees have shed their leavesA
And against the morning's whiteB
The shivering birds beneath the eavesA
Have sheltered for the nightB
We'll turn our faces southward loveC
Toward the summer isleD
Where bamboos spire to shafted groveE
And wide mouthed orchids smileD
-
And we will seek the quiet hillF
Where towers the cotton treeG
And leaps the laughing crystal rillF
And works the droning beeG
And we will build a cottage thereH
Beside an open gladeI
With black ribbed blue bells blowing nearJ
And ferns that never fadeI
