Dream Mystery Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BAB CAC DED FBG HAH IJI KLK HK

For Samuel LovemanA
-
O'er dreamland gardens lulled and whiteB
In music leaned the langorous moonA
The burden of the murmured nightB
-
Where amaranths and lillies woreC
In a lofty pallor fully blownA
An ivory silence evermoreC
-
Bemused I saw the night's white songD
The flower's moon measured lullabyE
Its visible pale rune prolongD
-
Then to my spelled reluctant earF
A whisper louder than the lightB
pierced as from alien presence nearG
-
Till half I deemed to shortly seeH
A silver seraph of the moonA
Or star shape harping mysteryH
-
But wingless yet the midnight seemedI
The garden footless to my gazeJ
Save for a wind that fleetly gleamedI
-
Upon the pensive paced hoursK
And moonlight fluttering like a mothL
Amid the swayed enormous flowersK
