Deem me not dull or cold
For love not always told,
For when the lake at even
Is loin of wind and air,
The moon lies perfect there
As in another heaven.
In somber crystal holden,
In silence exquisite,
No ripple shadows it
Nor blurs the rondure golden.
Deem me not dull or cold
For love not always told.
