Childhood Enemy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DED FGG HII IJJ KLL IMM NOP III DDQM

We were just youngsters on our first meetA
you re too curious about meB
and I m too shy to speakC
-
I saw you as a little monsterD
too spoiled by your momE
for you my feelings don t even matterD
-
But it s not like that alwaysF
you were good to me somehowG
and i cherished that til nowG
-
Time flies so fastH
somehow you fled tooI
you left me all of youI
-
Who knew i ll miss youI
even if you re a spoiled bratJ
there s greater memories than thatJ
-
We laughed we played we fightK
there s always someone who ll cryL
we even learned how to lieL
-
Can t count the times I hated youI
but my love for you is eternalM
even sometimes you re supernaturalM
-
Now you re all grown upN
you re evilness has come to a stopO
Thanks for the memories we sharedP
-
Childhood would not be complete without youI
sometimes white sometimes gray and even blueI
now there s more to life ahead of youI
-
Always listen and always rememberD
that if we parted again everD
you re my only favorite nieceQ
and i m your most loving uncleM
