In Progress Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDECFGHHGF

Ten years ago it seemed impossibleA
That she should ever grow so calm as thisB
With self remembrance in her warmest kissB
And dim dried eyes like an exhausted wellC
Slow speaking when she has some fact to tellC
Silent with long unbroken silencesD
Centred in self yet not unpleased to pleaseE
Gravely monotonous like a passing bellC
Mindful of drudging daily common thingsF
Patient at pastime patient at her workG
Wearied perhaps but strenuous certainlyH
Sometimes I fancy we may one day seeH
Her head shoot forth seven stars from where they lurkG
And her eyes lightnings and her shoulders wingsF
