Midnight Solitude Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEBB BBFF BBGG HHII

In the stillness of the night I sit aloneA
Lost in the labyrinth of my mind unknownA
No beacon of hope no guiding lightB
Just the echo of silence heavy with plightB
-
I wait in the darkness yearning for a signC
For someone to rescue this heart of mineC
But the hours pass by relentless and coldD
Leaving me stranded broken and oldD
-
Each moment stretches into eternityE
As I drown in the depths of my own uncertaintyE
No savior appears no angel in flightB
Just the haunting whispers of the nightB
-
Alone with my thoughts I wrestle and fightB
Searching for meaning in the depths of nightB
But the darkness prevails a relentless foeF
Leaving me stranded with nowhere to goF
-
Yet amidst the despair a flicker of lightB
A glimmer of hope in the midst of the nightB
For in the depths of solitude I find my own voiceG
And realize that I am my own choiceG
-
Though I may be lost and hope may seem farH
I'll keep pushing forward guided by my own starH
For in the stillness of the night I'll find my wayI
And emerge from the darkness into the light of dayI
