Midnight Solitude

In the stillness of the night, I sit alone,
Lost in the labyrinth of my mind, unknown.
No beacon of hope, no guiding light,
Just the echo of silence, heavy with plight.

I wait in the darkness, yearning for a sign,
For someone to rescue this heart of mine.
But the hours pass by, relentless and cold,
Leaving me stranded, broken and old.

Each moment stretches into eternity,
As I drown in the depths of my own uncertainty.
No savior appears, no angel in flight,
Just the haunting whispers of the night.

Alone with my thoughts, I wrestle and fight,
Searching for meaning in the depths of night.
But the darkness prevails, a relentless foe,
Leaving me stranded, with nowhere to go.

Yet amidst the despair, a flicker of light,
A glimmer of hope in the midst of the night.
For in the depths of solitude, I find my own voice,
And realize that I am my own choice.

Though I may be lost, and hope may seem far,
I'll keep pushing forward, guided by my own star.
For in the stillness of the night, I'll find my way,
And emerge from the darkness, into the light of day.
