Sonnet Xxxiv: Charm'd By Thy Suffrage Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBDCEFEFFE

Charm'd by thy suffrage shall I yet aspireA
All inauspicious as my fate appearsB
By troubles darken'd that encrease with yearsB
To guide the crayon or to touch the lyreA
Ah me the sister Muses still requireC
A spirit free from all intrusive fearsB
Nor will they deign to wipe away the tearsD
Of vain regret that dim their sacred fireC
But when thy envied sanction crowns my laysE
A ray of pleasure lights my languid mindF
For well I know the value of thy praiseE
And to how few the flattering meed confin'dF
That thou their highly favour'd brows to bindF
Wilt weave green myrtle and unfading baysE
