Sonnet Xxii. By The Same. To Solitude. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDFGHGHII

OH Solitude to thy sequester'd valeA
I come to hide my sorrow and my tearsB
And to thy echoes tell the mournful taleA
Which scarce I trust to pitying Friendship's earsC
Amidst thy wild woods and untrodden gladesD
No sounds but those of melancholy moveE
And the low winds that die among thy shadesD
Seem like soft Pity's sighs for hopeless loveF
And sure some story of despair and painG
In yon deep copse thy murm'ring doves relateH
And Hark methinks in that long plaintive strainG
Thine own sweet songstress weeps my wayward fateH
Ah Nymph that fate assist me to endureI
And bear awhile what death alone can cureI
