Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCDEDEFGFGHH| Written on the anniversary of her marriage | A |
| - | |
| ON this blest day may no dark cloud or shower | B |
| With envious shade the Sun's bright influence hide | C |
| But all his rays illume the favour'd hour | B |
| That saw thee Mary Henry's lovely bride | C |
| With years revolving may it still arise | D |
| Blest with each good approving Heaven can send | E |
| And still with ray serene shall those blue eyes | D |
| Enchant the husband and attach the friend | E |
| For you fair Friendship's amaranth shall blow | F |
| And love's own thornless roses bind your brow | G |
| And when long hence to happier worlds you go | F |
| Your beauteous race shall be what you are now | G |
| And future Nevills through long ages shine | H |
| With hearts as good and forms as fair as thine | H |
