Sonnet Xv. From Petrarch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGHI

WHERE the green leaves exclude the summer beamA
And softly bend as balmy breezes blowB
And where with liquid lapse the lucid streamA
Across the fretted rock is heard to flowB
Pensive I lay when she whom Earth concealsC
As if still living to my eyes appearsD
And pitying Heaven her angel form revealsC
To say 'Unhappy Petrarch dry your tearsE
'Ah why sad lover thus before your timeF
In grief and sadness should your life decayG
And like a blighted flower your manly primeF
In vain and hopeless sorrow fade awayG
Ah yield not thus to culpable despairH
But raise thine eyes to Heaven and think I wait thee there 'I
