Sonnet Xlvii: To Fancy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGHFGH

Thee Queen of Shadows shall I still invokeA
Still love the scenes thy sportive pencil drewB
When on mine eyes the early radiance brokeA
Which shew'd the beauteous rather than the trueB
Alas long since those glowing tints are deadC
And now 'tis thine in darkest hues to dressD
The spot where pale Experience hangs her headC
O'er the sad grave of murder'd HappinessE
Thro' thy false medium then no longer view'dF
May fancied pain and fancied pleasure flyG
And I as from me all thy dreams departH
Be to my wayward destiny subduedF
Nor seek perfection with a poet's eyeG
Nor suffer anguish with a poet's heartH
