Sonnet Xli. To Tranquility Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABACBCBDEFDEF

IN this tumultuous sphere for thee unfitA
How seldom art thou found TranquillityA
Unless 'tis when with mild and downcast eyeB
By the low cradles thou delight'st to sitA
Of sleeping infants watching the soft breathC
And bidding the sweet slumberers easy lieB
Or sometimes hanging o'er the bed of deathC
Where the poor languid sufferer hopes to dieB
Oh beauteous sister of the halcyon peaceD
I sure shall find thee in that heavenly sceneE
Where care and anguish shall their power resignF
Where hope alike and vain regret shall ceaseD
And memory lost in happiness sereneE
Repeat no more that misery has been mineF
