Sonnet V. To The South Downs Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGFGHI

AH hills beloved where once a happy childA
Your beechen shades 'your turf your flowers among 'B
I wove your blue bells into garlands wildA
And woke your echoes with my artless songC
Ah hills beloved your turf your flowers remainD
But can they peace to this sad breast restoreE
For one poor moment soothe the sense of painD
And teach a breaking heart to throb no moreE
And you Aruna in the vale belowF
As to the sea your limpid waves you bearG
Can you one kind Lethean cup bestowF
To drink a long oblivion to my careG
Ah no when all e'en Hope's last ray is goneH
There's no oblivion but in death aloneI
