Sonnet Lxxiii. To A Querulous Acquaintance Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDCCDAEAEFF

THOU whom Prosperity has always ledA
O'er level paths with moss and flow'rets strewnB
For whom she still prepares a downy bedA
With roses scatter'd and to thorns unknownC
Wilt thou yet murmur at a misplaced leafD
Think ere thy irritable nerves repineC
How many born with feelings keen as thineC
Taste all the sad vicissitudes of griefD
How many steep in tears their scanty breadA
Or lost to reason Sorrow's victims raveE
How many know not where to lay their headA
While some are driven by anguish to the graveE
Think nor impatient at a feather's weightF
Mar the uncommon blessings of thy fateF
