Sonnet Lxxi. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEFEFGHGHIJ

Written at Weymouth in winterA
THE chill waves whiten in the sharp North eastB
Cold cold the night blast comes with sullen soundC
And black and gloomy like my cheerless breastD
Frowns the dark pier and lonely sea view roundC
Yet a few months and on the peopled strandE
Pleasure shall all her varied forms displayF
Nymphs lightly tread the bright reflecting sandE
And proud sails whiten all the summer bayF
Then from these winds that whistle keen and bleakG
Music's delightful melodies shall floatH
O'er the blue waters but 'tis mine to seekG
Rather some unfrequented shade remoteH
From sights and sounds of gaiety I mournI
All that gave me delight Ah never to returnJ
