Speak Of The North! A Lonely Moor Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GBGB

Speak of the North A lonely moorA
Silent and dark and tractless swellsB
The waves of some wild streamlet pourC
Hurriedly through its ferny dellsB
-
Profoundly still the twilight airD
Lifeless the landscape so we deemE
Till like a phantom gliding nearF
A stag bends down to drink the streamE
-
And far away a mountain zoneG
A cold white waste of snow drifts liesB
And one star large and soft and loneG
Silently lights the unclouded skiesB
