Sonnet: - Xxii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCACBDEFBEEEE

Dark dismal day the first of many suchA
The wind is sighing through the plaintive treesB
In fitful gusts of a half frenzied woeC
Affrighted clouds the hand might almost touchA
Their black wings bend so mournfully and lowC
Sweep through the skies like night winds o'er the seasB
There is no chirp of bird through all the groveD
Save that of the young fledgeling rudely flungE
From its warm nest and like the clouds aboveF
My soul is dark and restless as the breezeB
That leaps and dances over CouchichingE
Soon will the last duett be sweetly sungE
But through the years to come our hearts will ringE
With memories as dear as time and love can bringE
