Sonnet: - Xx Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADBCDEFBBGG

I sat within the temple of her heartA
And watched the living Soul as it passed throughB
Arrayed in pearly vestments white and pureC
The calm immortal Presence made me startA
It searched through all the chambers of her mindD
With one mild glance of love and smiled to viewB
The fastnesses of feeling strong secureC
And safe from all surprise It sits enshrinedD
And offers incense in her heart as onE
An altar sacred unto God The dawnF
Of an imperishable love passed throughB
The lattice of my senses and I tooB
Did offer incense in that solemn placeG
A woman's heart made pure and sanctified by GraceG
