Sonnet: - Xii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBCDDEFFEGH

The moon shone down on fair Eliza's faceA
And made it beautiful No fitter placeA
Could she have chosen for her gracious smileB
For as she sat there in the languid lightC
Methought I'd found a soul as free from guileB
As ever came from God Oh favored NightC
Oh mild impassioned moon and starry spheresD
To gaze upon her through the silent yearsD
Without rebuke But I have looked withinE
And found the truest beauty have laid bareF
A spiritual excellence as rareF
As ever mortal being hoped to winE
Heart mind and soul I analysed them allG
And saw where heaven kept divinest carnivalH
