Sonnet: - Ix Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFFGGHH

Another day of rest and I sit hereA
Among the trees green mounds and leaves as sereB
As my own blasted hopes There was a timeC
When Love and perfect Happiness did chimeC
Like two sweet sounds upon this blessed dayD
But one has flown forever far awayD
From this poor Earth's unsatisfied desiresE
To love eternal and the sacred firesE
With which the other lighted up my mindF
Have faded out and left no trace behindF
But dust and bitter ashes Like a barkG
Becalmed I anchor through the midnight darkG
Still hoping for another dawn of LoveH
Bring back my olive branch of Happiness O doveH
